Samsung India Electronics Private Limited’s (hereinafter “Samsung”) Samsung Smart Utsav Bumper Offer (“Contest”) is being conducted by HT Mobile Sales Ltd. (hereafter referred to as the “Event Management Company”), on behalf of Samsung, and is valid throughout India except in the states of Tamil Nadu, Kerala and/or where prohibited by law, from 15th September 2011 till 31st October 2011 (hereinafter “Contest Period”).

Terms & Conditions - Samsung Scratch Card OfferThe winners of the Contest will be selected from among the participants on the basis of a random system generated lucky draw, to be held on a daily basis during the Contest Period. The results announced will be final and binding.Twenty four (24) lucky winners across India shall be entitled to win Samsung products worth MRP Rs. 100,000, Rs. 50,000 and Rs. 25,000 (hereinafter referred to as “Prizes”) on a daily basis i.e. eight (8) winners daily in each Prize category of Rs. 100,000, Rs. 50,000 and Rs. 25,000 respectively.All participants for the lucky draw on a particular day will receive an SMS the following day informing them to check the results of the draw. Participants can also log on www.samsungsmartutsav2011.com to check the results of the draw.The winners of the draw shall also be intimated through a telephonic call on the Result Day. Samsung and/or the Event Management Company shall try contacting the winners thrice during the 3 days following the Result Day. If the winners fail to answer the call, an SMS will be sent to them with a customer care number, where the winners can call to claim the Prize.The winners shall be required to send the copy of the invoice of the Samsung Product along with a copy of their photo identity proof by such means as may be requested by Samsung or Event Management Company.In case of failure by the winner to answer the calls, or failure to contact the customer care or failure to send the required documents on or before 15th November 2011, the winner shall be disqualified.Upon receipt of required documents from the winner, a Samsung authorized representative shall do a physical Product verification at the participant’s address. Winner shall stand disqualified incase the premises are locked or the Samsung authorized representative is prevented from carrying out the physical Product verification or in case the serial number of the Product is damaged, tampered or not legible in Samsung’s authorized representative’s opinion.Upon the successful physical Product verification, the winners shall be intimated to visit the designated Samsung branch at their own cost to receive their certificate entitling them to claim their Prize from the Samsung authorised dealer from where the original Product was purchased. The winners shall be required to produce the original invoice and a copy of their valid photo identification proof for receiving the certificate.The winners may be required to sign a customer feedback form and may also be required to get a photograph clicked with a Samsung authorized personnel. The winner needs to carry the original certificate and a copy of their photo ID proof for claiming their Prize. In case the winner fails to collect the Prize by 31st December 2011, the Prize shall be forfeited.Any request for exchange of Prize for cash or any other form of gratification or reward will not be entertained. The Prizes are non transferable. The place of arbitration shall be New Delhi and the language used in arbitral proceeding shall be English. Subject to the dispute resolution procedure as set out here in above, the courts at New Delhi shall have the exclusive jurisdiction in respect of all the subject matter with relation to the Contest.Samsung India Electronics Private Limited (hereinafter referred as “Samsung”) “Samsung Smart Utsav” Scratch Card offer (hereinafter referred to as “Offer”) in India except in the cities where such Offer is prohibited under law from 15th September 2011 to 31st October 2011 (hereinafter referred to as “Offer Period”), unless otherwise further extended by Samsung or till stock lasts, whichever is earlier.The Offer shall be valid and operative only on purchase of all models of Refrigerators, Microwave Ovens, Washing Machines, Air Conditioners, Digital Still Cameras, Camcorders & CRT TVs (hereinafter “Products”).Offer is open to Indian residents only, who are above 18 years of age.Under the Offer, on purchase of the Product(s), the customer shall be entitled to receive Smart Utsav scratch card(s) making him/her eligible for cashback as per the details below:The customer has to scratch the designated scratch area on the Smart Utsav Scratch Card to reveal the cashback in the presence of the Dealer or its authorized representative at the Dealer's premises.The total amount of cash back that the customer is entitled to shall be deducted from the invoice value of the Products at the time of purchase by the customer and the customer needs to submit the original Smart Utsav Scratch Card to the Dealer.In case of any tampering or abuse of the scratch card or invoice, Samsung reserves the right to unconditionally reject the benefits, at its sole discretion. 8.Samsung reserves the absolute right to amend the terms and conditions of the Offer or extend the Offer Period or cancel or discontinue the Offer or any part thereof without giving any reasons or prior notice.Offer shall be void, if prohibited by law.
